KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Aug. 25, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- A captivating product launch event featuring five outstanding Taiwanese companies recognized by Taiwan Excellence concluded today during the ongoing Taiwan Expo 2023. These companies showcased many of their innovative lifestyle solutions ranging from smart home appliances to electric bicycles, giving over 70 Malaysian businesses and media attendees a glimpse of how an excellent lifestyle could look like.

In response to the growing trend of smart living, Taiwan Excellence, the highest honour symbolizing Taiwan's innovative values, has set up the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion within the Taiwan Expo 2023 in Malaysia. The pavilion showcases nearly 60 innovative products from 33 brands, highlighting the prowess in high-quality manufacturing that Made-in-Taiwan (MIT) brings to the table.

TAITRA Executive Vice President Felix Chiu stated the quality behind MIT products is recognized globally and consistently seen by customers from around the world as the prime choice for a higher quality way of life. Taiwan Excellence is tapping into its creativity approach to bring Taiwan's best products into everyone's lives.

In response to the Malaysian government's efforts in vigorously promoting 120 smart cities and smart manufacturing applications, Taiwan Excellence has planned a product talk event titled Taiwan Excellence: Pioneering Your Lifestyle in the morning of the second day of the Expo (August 25th). This event aims to introduce the concept of "Taiwanese technology for living aesthetics" to Malaysia and products catering to the personalized smart living needs of Malaysian consumers.

Chiu added that the talk not only brings products closer to buyers and promotes the brands but also, through interactive methods such as real-time surveys and immediate inquiries, help manufacturers comprehensively understands buyers' perspectives on products. The ability to not only reach a wider audience but gain immediate feedback has garnered unanimous acclaim from Taiwanese manufacturers.

The five award-winning Taiwan Excellence companies captivated the audience with engaging demonstrations. Acerpure transformed a deep-purple colour of Malaysian favourite Ribena blackcurrant juice into clear water to showcase the efficiency of its RO water filtration system. Representatives from AIFA, appearing as wizards, used Wi-Fi remote control to seamlessly upgrade traditional appliances into smart devices. FECA showcased its patented suction cup technology by 'magically' lifting the ceramic tile. PlainLiv demonstrated a 10-second filter replacement, highlighting the convenience of their quick-change modular water purifier. Lastly, finally a speaker made a stylish entrance on a YouBike, introducing the YouBike 2.0E electric-assist bicycle with a high-capacity lithium battery, earning thunderous applause from the audience.

Invited guest, Chang Yew Cheong, President of The Electrical and Electronics Association of Malaysia (TEEAM), praised the innovative prowess of Taiwan Excellence, heralding the limitless possibilities for its electronic and electrical products. He believes that this exchange will foster further collaboration between Taiwan and Malaysia.

The Taiwan Excellence Pavilion at the Malaysian chapter of the Taiwan Expo encompasses three major areas: Health & Fitness, Vogue Lifestyle, and Smart City. Featured products include IPEVO's conference camera with AI noise reduction, omnidirectional speakers, and 360-degree audio and video capabilities, transforming any space into a professional meeting environment. ICP DAS presented an industrial-grade gas sensor that aids in monitoring carbon emissions in manufacturing or road transportation, contributing to the sustainable goal of achieving net-zero emissions.

AVer's medical-grade PTZ camera, designed to meet the demands of remote healthcare and precise medical applications, garnered significant interest.
